Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has declared that there is no hiding place for criminals in the state.
This comes as he urged the members of the public to support security agents in the fight against kidnappers.
He made these remarks at the Government House in Bauchi, the state capital, on Wednesday, while handing over the sophisticated weapons recovered from bandits and kidnappers by local vigilantes and hunters in the state.
The governor commended the local vigilantes and hunters, as well as conventional security agents, for their efforts, adding that his administration will continue to make the state unconducive for criminals.
While receiving the weapons, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Awwal Musa Mohammed, commended the governor for his support to security agents in the state, adding that they will continue to partner with relevant stakeholders in addressing the security challenges facing the state.
