Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed the Ballon d’Or and The FIFA Best awards are “losing credibility.”
Ronaldo’s eternal rival, Lionel Messi, is the current holder of both awards.
Messi claimed his eighth Ballon d’Or last month. He now has three more than Ronaldo.
He also won The Best FIFA Player this month.
But speaking to Record, Ronaldo said: “Ballon d’Or and The Best are losing credibility.
“It’s not to say that Messi didn’t deserve it, or Haaland or even Mbappé… but the numbers are there and the numbers don’t deceive. You’ve to consider the entire season.
“The numbers are facts.”
