Barcelona legend, Andres Iniesta, has given his verdict on Rodri winning the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
Recall that Rodri won the 2024 Ballon d’Or ahead of strong contender Vinicius on Monday in Paris.
The Spain midfielder had a wonderful 2023-24 campaign for both club and country.
Taking to his X account, Iniesta insisted that the Manchester City star more than deserved the award.
“Más que merecido. Muchas felicidades, Rodri,” Iniesta wrote on X. (More than deserved. Congratulations Rodri).
Rodri, meanwhile, is currently recovering from an injury he sustained a few weeks ago.
