Avoid truancy at PPAs – NYSC Coordinator warns corps members

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Coordinator in Kaduna State, Hassan Taura, has advised corps members to immediately settle down and avoid truancy at their places of primary assignment (PPAs).

Taura gave the advice on Thursday in Kaduna at a low-key closing ceremony of the 2023 batch ‘C’ stream ‘ll’ orientation course.”

He also advised the corps members to report to their primary assignments as soon as possible.

“As you leave camp today, you are expected to report to your PPAs promptly and complete all the necessary documentation.

Taura warned the corps members against travelling outside the state without permission from the NYSC management.

He explained that the idea was to discourage them as much as possible from exposing themselves to the dangers of the roads.

The state coordinator warned the corps members against indulging in drug abuse, cyber-crime, abuse of social media and any act capable of endangering their lives and denting the image of their parents and the NYSC.
