Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has said the remains of the singer will not be laid to rest until the autopsy result is released and a DNA test is conducted on his grandson, Liam.
He assured that once the two issues are sorted out, Mohbad’s body will be reburied.
Aloba, who spoke in a recent interview with TVC News, said he needs a DNA test result to be certain about his grandson’s paternity because he doesn’t know to whom his placenta was given.
He said: “Mohbad had already been buried by me. They had to exhume his body for an autopsy. And since then, we are still expecting the autopsy result, which is necessary before you can even make any attempt to bury him.
“So we need the DNA and autopsy results. It’s very important. Those are the things that are delaying his burial. After they are sorted, we can make a move.
“We, the family, need the result of a DNA test on Mohbad’s son because, when Liam was born, I don’t know the person they gave the placenta to.”
