Bayern legend Dietmar Hamann has predicted Arsenal to qualify for the UEFA Champions League semi-final stage ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s side.
According to Hamann, the Gunners have matured over the past two seasons.
He spoke ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie with Bayern Munich at Emirates on Tuesday night.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Hamann said: “Everything, you’ve got to say, points towards Arsenal and maybe that is the biggest danger that you can’t see any other outcome other than Arsenal going through over these two legs.”
He added: “Obviously, that is a danger [Bayern’s attacking players] and Arsenal will be aware.
This is a different Arsenal team because they have got a dreadful record against Bayern over the last 10 or 15 years. But I think this is a different Arsenal team. They have matured a lot over the past two seasons.”
