Alia set deadline for completion of Aper Aku Stadium

Benue State government has set an eight-week deadline for the completion of the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.

The Aper Aku Stadium is the home ground of Nigeria Premier Football League side Lobi Stars.

The state governor, Hyacinth Iormem Alia issued this directive during the media summit for NPFL media officers.

Alia also stated that the Gboko Stadium has also been marked for renovation.

Lobi Stars have adopted the Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi as their home ground for the 2024-25 NPFL season.

The Pride of Makurdi will battle with Akwa United in the opening fixture of the new season.
