Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, has told Nigerians that there is no ‘low team’ ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
Boniface said this while assuring Nigerians that the Super Eagles will try their possible best to get a victory against Libya.
Nigeria will host Libya in a 2025 AFCON qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Friday.
Austin Eguavoen’s side will also face the North Africans in the return leg on Tuesday.
“First of all there is no low team because the opponent also, they are here to represent their family and country,” Boniface told Football Fans Tribe.
“We are doing the same so will try our possible best to make a country like Nigeria really proud, to get three points and try to qualify for the next Africa Cup of Nations.
“We know how important the last one was for Nigeria in general, the support and everything, so we will try our possible best to get the win.”
