Super Eagles Team Coordinator, Patrick Pascal has explained the team’s game plan against South Africa ahead of Wednesday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, semi-final clash between both sides.
Pascal said Jose Peseiro’s men will approach the game with the mind-set to win within regulation time.
According to him, the Super Eagles don’t want the game to go into extra time or a penalty shootout.
“We will go all out for victory because we are hungry to win the cup again. By the grace of God, we shall wrap up the game during regulation time.
“We don’t want the game to go into extra time or a penalty shootout. The idea is to settle the game within 90 minutes,” Pascal told Completesports.
Nigeria head to the match after beating Angola in the semi-final.
Bafana Bafana, on the other hand, defeated Cape Verde.
