Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has refused to rule out Victor Osimhen from his side’s semi-final clash against South Africa, DAILY POST reports.
Osimhen failed to travel with the rest of the team to Bouake on Monday night.
The Napoli hitman has had a bout of tummy run in the last two days.
The 25-year-old is expected to be assessed later today and will join the rest of the squad in Bouake if he is passed fit for the game.
“Until now, I can not answer right because it is about health. This afternoon, I can know better if he can play or not,” Peseiro told a press conference on Tuesday.
Wednesday’s encounter will hold at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake.
It will commence at 5pm Cote d’Ivoire time (6pm in Nigeria).
