AFCON 2025 qualifier: Nwabali, Obasogie hit camp as others suffer flight hitch

Goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo on Monday ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Libya.

Meanwhile, some of the invited players failed to hit camp on Monday due to a flight hitch.

According to SCORENigeria, Wilfred Ndidi and Benjamin Tanimu will spend the night in Lagos after their Ibom Air flight was cancelled.

The flight was originally scheduled to take off by 3 pm before it was delayed several times and eventually cancelled.

Assistant coach Daniel Ogunmodede was also affected by the cancellation.

The trio is expected to hit Uyo on Tuesday morning.
