AFCON 2023: Enyeama proud of Nwabali, thumbs up Super Eagles

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has eulogised Stanley Nwabali for his heroic display in the team’s win against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Nwabali was the hero as the Super Eagles sealed a place in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations courtesy of a 4-2 penalty shootout win against the hard fighting South Africans.

The Chippa United, who was outstanding in the game, saved two kicks in the shootout.

The 27-year-old was also named Man of the Match.

Enyeama wrote on social media after the game, “Congratulations @ng_supereagles @nwabali32 keep soaring. So Proud of you #hero.”

Nwabali has conceded two goals in six outings for the Super Eagles at the AFCON 2023 finals.
