AEDC confirms power outage in Abuja

Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has confirmed that parts of Abuja are currently experiencing power outages.

AEDC disclosed this in a notice to customers through its official X handle on Tuesday.

The disco noted that the power outage affected residents around Wuse Zone 3, parts of Zone 2, Zone 5 and environs in the Federal Capital Territory.

AEDC blamed the power outage on a faulty feeder serving the affected areas.

However, AEDC did not state when power supply will be restored to the affected areas.

“This is to inform residents around Wuse Zone 3, parts of Zone 2, Zone 5 and environs, that the power outage currently being experienced is due to a technical fault on the feeder serving these areas.

“Our dedicated technical team is working tirelessly to restore the supply as
quickly as possible. We regret any inconvenience caused”, the notice reads.
