Nasarawa United head coach, Usman Adams, is upbeat that his team will claim maximum points in their Nigeria National League matchday five encounter against Yobe Desert Stars.
Adams revealed that the Solid Miners target is to reclaim the leadership of the group going into the festive period.
He, however, admitted that the task won’t be easy but assured that his players will go all out for a win in the game.
Nasarawa United will host the Yobe Desert Stars at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday.
“Going forward, I want to assure our supporters and fans that we are going to win our next game against Yobe Desert Stars,” he told Nasarawa United media.
“We want to reclaim the leadership of our group before Christmas so that when we are approaching our other games, we will be doing so as leaders.
“They are equally not a bad team, but we know how we are going to handle the situation.
“We won’t disappoint our sponsor or fans, as we will surely bounce back.”
The Lafia club currently occupy second position on the group C table of the Northern Conference.
