Adamawa Police launch manhunt for killers of hotel guest

The Adamawa Police Command has launched a manhunt for the killer of a lady in a hotel in Yola, Adamawa State capital

This is according to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje

The statement indicated that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola while condemning the brutal killing of the lady, ordered an immediate investigation into the matter to apprehend the perpetrator and collaborators in the dastardly act.

The Commissioner cautioned Hoteliers to report people of questionable characters to the police for immediate action and vowed to apprehend the suspect.

The police warned that killing of innocent citizens would no longer be tolerated under whatever guise, adding that the command under his leadership, holds the lives of all citizens sacrosanct,

The Commissioner also warned that such unwarranted acts would be strictly treated in accordance with extant laws.

According to the statement, the command will continue to work with other sister security agents in protecting the fundamental rights of all citizens to enable them advance their sacred mandate of serving and protecting the citizens better.

He appealed for calm as the top management of both security agencies are doing everything legally possible to arrest the culprit.
