Adamawa: Fintiri inaugurates 13 newly appointed permanent secretaries

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has inaugurated 13 recently appointed permanent secretaries.

The governor, at a ceremony on Wednesday at the Government House, Yola, also inaugurated a sole administrator for Gere Bakari Development Area of the state.

Fintiri had earlier announced the appointment of the permanent secretaries after they passed a competence examination conducted by Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, ASCON.

The governor, represented by his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, urged the new permanent secretaries to pursue the interest of the state, whichever Ministry they are posted to.

“You are not coming on board to represent a tribe or local government area. You are coming to represent Adamawa State as one big family,” Fintiri said.

The new permanent secretaries include Mundi Musa Ibrahim, Adama Maman, Dogara Musa, Fibian Wambai, Abubakar Umar Maiha, Oliver Gani, and Zira Bubanani.

The rest are Kwaji Duguri, Ruth Hurum, Makalan Akila, Tanimu Buba, Heidi Edgar Amos and Mohammad Amin Suleiman

Mahmud Saeed was sworn in as the sole administrator of Gere Bakari Development Area.

Gere Bakari is one of 50 Development areas that exist within the 21 local government areas of Adamawa State.
