Adamawa Assembly approves administrators for development areas

The Adamawa State House of Assembly has approved the appointment of administrators for the 50 development areas of the state.

The development areas are a creation of the state government from among the 21 local government areas provided for by the Nigerian Constitution.

Those confirmed as administrators during the sitting of the state House of Assembly on Monday include:

The confirmation of the new administrators followed the consideration of a letter sent to the House of Assembly by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri and read at the Monday plenary by the Speaker, Bathiya Wesley.

The member representing Maiha Constituency and the Deputy Majority Leader, Ahmed Jingi Belel, moved a motion for approval, which was seconded by Haruna Jilantikiri.
