Abubakar moves to Kwara United on two-year contract

Kwara United have wrapped up the signing of goalkeeper Adamu Muhammad from Gombe United, DAILY POST reports.

Muhammad dumped Gombe United following their relegation to the Nigeria National League, NNL.

The former Nigeria U-23 shot-stopper signed a two-year deal with the Harmony Boys.

Abubakar was Gombe United’s first-choice goalkeeper last season.

He will replace Adewale Adeyinka, who has left Kwara United for Plateau United.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has joined Kabiru Dogo’s side for pre-season training in Ikenne.

Abubakar previously played for Shooting Stars, El-Kanemi Warriors, Wikki Tourists and Katsina United.
