Abia Warriors assistant coach, Igwe Madubuike says the team will approach their final game of the season against Doma United with all seriousness.
The Umuahia-based club secured their Nigeria Premier Football League safety following a 2-0 victory over Akwa United last weekend.
Abia Warriors have nothing but pride to play for when they square with Doma United at the Pantami Township Stadium on Sunday.
Doma United on the other hand need a big win to w to have a chance of escaping relegation.
Madubuike said that the team’s aim is to finish the season on a high.
“We will approach the game against Doma United with all seriousness,” he stated to Abia Warriors media.
“The aim is to finish in a reputable position on the NPFL table.”
Abia Warriors have garnered 51 points from 37 games this campaign.
