Abara lauds Tornadoes players despite defeat to Doma United

Niger Tornadoes head coach, Hamza Abara has commended his players for their fighting spirit in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Doma United.

Nelson Abiam nodded home the winning goal for Doma United just before the break.

The win saw Doma United extend their unbeaten streak to seven games.

Despite the disappointment of another away defeat for his side, Abara praised the players for their effort.

“I’m happy with the boys today, they showed good character and commitment which means the team is gradually picking up, all we need to do now is to consolidate on this impressive outing,” Abara told the club’s media.

“Doma United are a good side, especially at home, with the massive support from their fans.

“To our fans back home, we solicit for their support and patience, the team is a work in progress.”
