2024: NOA restates FG’s commitment to deliver mandate

The National Orientation Agency, NOA, said the Federal Government is committed to delivering its mandate to meet the expectations of Nigerians in 2024.

The Director-General of the agency, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, who stated this in a statement in Abuja on Sunday, urged Nigerians to keep faith with the government despite the challenges facing the country.

He said the government is committed to delivering on the mandate and expectations of the people in 2024.

According to him, the hardship occasioned by the recent removal of fuel subsidy in the country, coupled with the side effects of a dwindling economy, were temporary challenges that the government would deal with steadily.

Issa-Onilu appealed to Nigerians to continue to make their contribution, as individuals and groups, towards building a strong nation with a strong economy that would take care of the problems of its people.

“What the government needs from Nigerians is our continued faith, goodwill, support, and prayers so that the challenges we are faced with are solved permanently.

“Let us look forward to 2024 with renewed hope and expectation, because the government has shown great resolve to ensure a better nation for us all,” he said.
