EPL: Neville questions Man Utd over decision to sell forward

Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has questioned the club’s decision to sell Anthony Elanga after the Nottingham Forest forward impressed against his former club in Saturday’s Premier League encounter.

Recall that Elanga was impressive for Nottingham Forest as they defeated Man United 2-1 at home

He was deemed surplus to requirements last summer, despite having featured prominently during the early months of Man United manager Erik ten Hag’s tenure at Old Trafford.

The Sweden international, who cost Forest just 15million, was keen to leave Man United in search of regular first team football.

Elanga has enhanced his reputation at Forest despite his new side’s struggles this season.

“You have to question whether he’s better than some of the ones he’s left behind,” Neville told Sky Sports.
