Belgium: Super Sub Arokodare bags brace as Genk thrash Antwerp

Nigerian forward, Tolu Arokodare was the hero as his brace steered KRC Genk to a 3-0 win against champions Royal Antwerp at the Cegeka Arena.

The home team took the lead through Gambia forward Alieu Fadera in the 10th minute.

Arokodare then took centre stage after replacing Christopher Bonsu Baah on 69 minutes.

The 23-year-old doubled Genk’s advantage 15 minutes from time with his compatriot, Yira Sor, providing the assist.

The striker added the third in the 77th minute with a brilliant solo effort.

Arokodare has now scored scored six goals in 19 league appearances for the Smurfs this season.
He is now the second player this season to score twice after coming on as a substitute in a Belgian Pro League game.

Antwerp paraded Nigerian duo, Alhassan Yusuf and Chidera Ejuke, in the game.
