Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has felicitated with Christian faithful celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a Christmas message, the governor urged Nigerians to embrace the season’s spirit of love, peace and reflection.
Acknowledging the significance of Christ’s teachings, Radda commended Nigerians for cultivating religious harmony and fostering a sense of brotherhood within the country.
“Even as we confront difficulties,” Radda declared, “let us hold fast to the ideals that bind us together – love, unity, and the unwavering pursuit of security for all”.
He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to combating banditry and ensuring the safety of every citizen, noting ongoing efforts to safeguard communities and create a peaceful environment.
Radda also shed light on his vision for a brighter future built on a strong foundation of education.
He pledged to continue reforming the state’s educational sector.
“Through strategic initiatives, the government aims to equip future generations with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive, paving the way for Katsina’s continued prosperity.
“Let us seize this festive season as an opportunity for introspection and prayer. Together, let us seek divine guidance for peace, security, and progress, not just for Katsina State, but for our entire nation,” he added.
