Family agrees to bury ex-3SC coach in Ibadan – Son

The family of a former player and coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) late Philip Boamah has agreed to bury him in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

DAILY POST gathered that Boamah who hailed from Ghana died in the early hours of Thursday at the University College Hospital (UCH ) Ibadan.

He died at the age of 74.

The eldest son of the deceased, Kevin Olugbenga has, however, said that the family has agreed to bury the deceased in Ibadan.

He made this revelation while receiving the officials of the club on Friday in Ibadan on Friday.

Our correspondent reports that the club management was at the residence of the deceased to pay their condolences to the family.

The eldest son while addressing the club management, revealed that all the family members of the late footballer both in Nigeria and Ghana have all agreed that the deceased should be buried in Ibadan.
