Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernández has criticized his team’s “unacceptable” performance, despite their 3-2 win over bottom club, Almeria on Wednesday night.
The result ended a three-game winless streak.
Barca captain, Sergi Roberto scored twice, including an 83rd minute winner, to seal the points.
Almería had twice come from behind, threatening to record their first win in LaLiga this season.
Raphinha gave Xavi’s men a first-half lead, but Almería drew level before the break through Léo Baptistão.
“We had 30 shots and gifted them two goals. The first half is unacceptable. As a coach you can’t accept that I told [the players] that at half-time.
“It’s as simple as that. The second half was better, but we missed a lot [of chances] and made a lot of mistakes. It’s been like this for over a month.
“The team lacked spirit. The team doesn’t have that same spirit it had last season. There’s no aggression or focus. We need more rhythm and intensity,” Xavi told reporters.
