EPL: Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale in shock move to Chelsea

Chelsea are ready to ramp up their interest in Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the aftermath of Robert Sanchez’s injury, according to talkSPORT.

Sanchez suffered a knee injury during the Blues’ 2-0 defeat at Everton last weekend.

He is expected to miss the entirety of the festive period.

During Sanchez’s absence, Chelsea will use former MLS keeper Djordje Petrovic.

Last season’s No 1, Kepa Arrizabalaga, is currently on loan at Real Madrid.

However, Chelsea will look to strengthen their squad in that area when the January window opens.

The Stamford Bridge side had earmarked Ramsdale in October, and Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be increasingly keen to sign players with Premier League experience.
