NPFL: Enyimba beat Abia Warriors in oriental derby, Remo Stars back on top

Enyimba recorded a 2-1 home win against Abia Warriors in an oriental derby in Aba on Sunday.

Happy Eze and Chidiebere Nnachi were the goal scorers for the holders in the game.

Abia Warriors got their goal through Augustine Njoku in stoppage time.

In Ikenne, Remo Stars reclaimed top position after a comfortable 2-0 victory against Kwara United.

Adams Olamilekan gave the home team the lead in the first half, while Samad Kadiri added the second towards the end of the game.

At the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, Plateau United claimed their first away win of the season after edging their hosts Niger Tonardoes 3-2.

Harrison Ebah put Plateau United ahead on three minutes.

The hosts took control of the game through a brace from Bashir Usman.

Plateau United however won the game courtesy of goals from Albert Hilary and Silas Nenrot.

Elsewhere, Akwa United claimed their third win of the season courtesy of a 1-0 victory against Lobi Stars.

Seyi Oguntayo’s first half goal separated both teams on the night.
