Tudun Biri military drone attack: NSF calls for thorough investigation

The Northern Senators Forum (NSF) has joined the call for a thorough investigation into the unfortunate incident and advocated for exemplary punishment to be meted out to those found culpable.

Governor Uba Sani, who expressed this on his verified Facebook page on Saturday, said the NSF, led by Senator Abdul Ningi, visited Kaduna to offer condolences to the government and people of Kaduna State regarding the unfortunate Tudun Biri military drone attack.

He further noted that the forum donated the sum of N58 million to the families of the victims of this regrettable incident.

“I had the honor and privilege of receiving Distinguished Senators of the Federal Republic under the auspices of the Northern Senators Forum,” he stated.

In response, Governor Uba urged the Distinguished Senators to critically review our laws and update them to strengthen our security agencies.

He stressed that strengthening our laws and the security architecture is crucial for averting future tragic occurrences.

“I thanked them for their show of solidarity and support to our people at this crucial moment,” he added.
