The Conference of Online Publishers in Akwa Ibom State (COOPA), in partnership with broadcast and newspaper outfits, is set to embark on a tour of local government areas in Akwa Ibom State, from January 21, 2025.
This community-based initiative is aimed at assessing the agenda setting of Council Chairmen in the state.
The tour, to be conducted on a Federal Constituency basis, will promote accountability and highlight the policy direction of the current local government administration.
Consequently, we acknowledge tour invitations from some Local Government Councils and seek the cooperation of other Council Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Secretaries, ahead of this crucial assignment which will feature visits to Council Secretariats.
