Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is eyeing a fresh start in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old has been frozen out of the first team since he publicly challenged manager Erik ten Hag in August.
Sancho has trained away from his teammates and Ten Hag refused to offer him a way back unless he apologised.
This has led to the player being linked with a move away from Old Trafford, while Juventus and his former club, Borussia Dortmund, are also monitoring the situation.
Sky Germany, however, reports that Sancho has a secret wish to make a fresh start at United.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to complete his minority takeover in the coming weeks and will assume immediate control of football matters.
It is believed Sancho could be prepared to wait to hold talks with ‘new decision-makers’ and that his situation at United could yet change.
