Al-Hilal forward, Neymar has hit back at “talker” Rodri after the Manchester City midfielder told Vinicius Junior to “pay attention” to become a better footballer.
Rodri was last month named the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner after beating Vinicius to the coveted accolade.
Earlier this week, the Spain international said: “Vinicius is an intelligent guy and he will realise over time that the more he pays attention to the pitch, the better he will be.
“He is young, I’m sure that people will give him good advice and even more so when he’s at Madrid. It’s a club with values.”
However, after Rodri sent a warning of sorts to Vinicius, the Brazilian’s compatriot Neymar has now aimed a dig at the Spaniard.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Neymar commented: “He [Rodri] became a talker now.”
Rodri is currently recovering from a season-ending knee injury, while Vinicius will hope to lead Real Madrid to victory when they face Leganes in the LaLiga on Sunday.
