Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has confirmed that top midfielder Declan Rice has not trained ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Chelsea.
Arsenal will face Chelsea in an away Premier League London derby at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Rice, meanwhile, sustained a foot injury in Arsenal’s Premier League defeat to Newcastle United last weekend.
The England international missed Arsenal’s Champions League defeat to Inter Milan in mid-week.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea, Arteta said about Rice:
“Declan Rice has not trained yet and we still don’t know if he will be available against Chelsea.”
