NPFL: Abia Warriors eager to bounce back from Heartland defeat

Abia Warriors midfielder, Innocent Godwin, has vowed the team will bounce back from the disappointment of last weekend’ s home loss to Heartland.

Imama Amapakabo’s side fell 2-0 to their oriental rivals at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

The Umuahia club will be up against Lobi Stars this weekend.

Innocent declared that they would go all out for a win against Daniel Amokachi’s tutored side.

“Our last game at home was not good enough because we did all we could, but our best was not good enough,” he told the club’s media.

“We are promising the fans and the entire management, our game against Lobi Stars, we will put on our best to make sure we come out victorious.”
