Sunshine Stars head coach Edith Agoye has urged his players to consolidate on their home win against Shooting Stars.
Moses Omodumueke’s lone strike gifted the Owena Waves a 1-0 victory against the Shooting Stars at the Akure Township Stadium on Wednesday.
Agoye commended his players for showing determination throughout the game.
He also urged the players to consolidate their performance going into the next game.
“A goal in a derby and three points in the kitty isn’t a bad one,” he told the club’s media.
“The players gave their all and the support from our fans was very massive. This is gone; we look up to the next match with high hopes.”
Sunshine Stars will tackle Bendel Insurance in their next game.
