Transfer: Mourinho demands new improved contract for Super Eagles defender

Fenerbahce defender, Jose Mourinho is demanding an improved contract for Nigeria defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Osayi-Samuel’s current contract will expire next summer.

The 27-year-old rejected a new contract offer from the club in the summer as he want an improved salary.

According to Fanatik, the full-back wants an annual salary of €2.5m.

The Yellow Canaries also want him to sign a new three-year contract.

Mourinho is keen to retain the services of the highly-rated defender and want his future sorted immediately.

Osayi-Samuel linked up with the Yellow Canaries from QPR in January, 2021.

He has made seven league appearances this season with one assist to his name.
