Kwara United head coach, Kabiru Dogo has labelled his team’s matchday 12 draw against Doma United as a huge setback.
Doma United held Kwara United to a goalless draw at the Kwara Sports Complex, Ilorin, on Wednesday.
Dogo believed that the Savannah Tigers employed time wasting tactics to get the result.
“The referee, I think, was too lenient with the visitors despite wasting too much time,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“In the first half alone, we played less than 30 minutes, as their players were falling all around the field. That’s negative football.
“And again, the pitch is not smooth enough for us to fully execute our well known philosophy, but we will continue to work hard to achieve the set objectives for the season.”
Kwara United currently occupy 13th position on the table following the result.
