Friendly: Madugu satisfied with Super Falcons’  performance against Algeria

Super Falcons interim head coach, Justine Madugu has commended his players for their impressive display in the friendlies against Algeria.

The nine-time African champions defeated the Green Ladies twice in their recent friendlies.

The Super Falcons dominated by home-based players defeated Algeria 2-0 at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne last week Saturday.

The West Africans thrashed Algeria 4-1 in the second friendly at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on Tuesday.

“I commend the girls for their performance even though we only had very few training sessions together,” Madugu said after the game on Tuesday.

“It gives us hope and belief that going forward we will have a more formidable Super Falcons.”
