Israel has announced that Saturday’s strikes in Iran marked the end of its airstrikes against the country.
The Israeli military said on Saturday it had completed its “targeted” attacks against military targets in Iran.
It added that its planes had safely returned home, Reuters reports.

The attack, which was described as a high-stakes retaliatory attack, could bring the Middle East closer to a regional war.
At least seven explosions were reported over Iran’s capital, Tehran, and nearby Karaj just after 2.30am local time on Saturday.
