NPFL: Akwa United target maximum points against Shooting Stars in Ibadan

Akwa United are looking to beat Shooting Stars away in their matchday 9 fixture in Ibadan.

The Promise Keepers had intensive training sessions which was based on scoring drills throughout their preparations for the away trip.

Akwa United will trade tackles with Shooting Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday.

Akwa United have had a slow start to the season.

They have recorded only one win from their eight fixtures this season.

Mohammed Babaganaru’s side occupy 18th position on the log with six points.

“Always work hard, never give up, and fight until the end because it’s never really over until the final whistle,” Akwa United stated ahead of the week nine fixture.
