Arsenal have decided not to appeal the red card William Saliba received during their 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth last Saturday.
Saliba was shown a straight red card in the 30th minute of the game at the Vitality Stadium.
The French defender brought down Evanilson, with the Bournemouth striker was set to race through on goal.
Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert then scored in the second half to seal the win for the Cherries.
Saliba’s red was Arsenal’s third of the season following the dismissals of Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard and their 18th since Arteta took charge of the team in December 2019.
And according to The Times, the Gunners have opted not to appeal Saliba’s red card, which means that the defender will miss Sunday’s clash against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.
