Sunshine Stars Technical Adviser, Kennedy Boboye, has confessed his side’s win over Nasarawa United was tough.
Boboye said that his players failed to live up to expectations despite the victory.
Opeoluwa Olufemi’s goal gave Sunshine Stars a 1-0 win over Nasarawa United at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode on Sunday.
“We played against a good side coached by an experienced coach”, he told Sunshine Stars media.
“It was a very tough game for us today as we did not play the way we normally run over teams.
“Had we conceded a goal it would have been a different result.”
Sunshine Stars climbed up to fourth position on the table following the win.
