West Bromwich Albion welcomed Semi Ajayi back to training on Thursday after the defender’s nightmare international experience with Nigeria.
Ajayi and his Nigerian team-mates as well as backroom staff were held in an airport in Libya for more than 12 hours without some basic amenities before they boycotted the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounter.
The centre-back returned to his base on Wednesday, before rejoining his club mates in training on Thursday.
West Brom will be away to Oxford in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
The Baggies will have another training session before the game on Friday.
Carlos Corberán are winless in their last two Sky Bet Championship games.
