Super Falcons star, Ashleigh Plumptre is full of excitement after stepping on the pitch again following an injury layoff.
Plumptre was sidelined for around six months after undergoing surgery on the injury.
The 26-year-old returned to action in Al-Ittihad’s 1-0 victory over Al-Ula last weekend.
The defender came on as a second half substitute in the game.
After the match, she took to social media to share her excitement with Al-Ittihad fans.
“Hey, Etihad fans! I’m so happy to be back. Even happier with the win and the clean sheet.
“Thanks for all your support,” Plumptre said in a post-match video.
