The Super Eagles flew out to Libya on Sunday morning for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday 4 encounter against the Mediterranean Knights.
The team’s chartered fight had a stopover in Kano before proceeding to Benghazi.
The Super Eagles were previously scheduled to travel to Tripoli, and then make a two-hour trip by road to Benghazi.
The plan was however later jettisoned to avoid stress for the players and officials.
Libya will host the Super Eagles at the 10,000 capacity stadium in Benina on Tuesday.
The ground is 10 kilometers from Benghazi. The encounter will kick-off at 8 pm Nigeria time.
