UCL: Dortmund top, Real Madrid in bottom half after Match Week 2 [Full table]

Borussia Dortmund are top of the Champions League table following the second round of fixtures this week.

The Bundesliga side thrashed Celtic 7-1 in an extraordinary game on Tuesday night.

Nuri Sahin’s men now have the maximum six points from two games with a goal difference of +9.

Brest, Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Juventus are all on six points too.

Holders Real Madrid lost 1-0 to Lille and are in the bottom half of the 36-team table.

AC Milan, Young Boys, Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig, Sturm Graz and Girona are yet to win a single match.

After each club has played eight matches, the top eight move into the last 16 and those ranked between ninth and 24th go to the play-offs trying to join them.
