EPL: Man Utd players ‘shocked’ club didn’t sack Ten Hag

Manchester United players are now discussing the possible sack of manager Erik ten Hag among themselves, according to the UK Mirror.

Ten Hag has overseen a poor start to this season, picking up only seven points from the first six games.

The 3-0 defeat to Tottenham last Sunday was United’s second home loss of the campaign.

Ten Hag faced serious questions over his future in the summer as the new hierarchy considered their options.

But they eventually stuck with Ten Hag and even offered him a new contract to sign, leaving some members of the squad shocked.

The Dutchman now faces a huge week with away trips to Porto in the Europa League and then Aston Villa in the Premier League, set to potentially define his tenure.

The players are now openly talking about how much longer the former Ajax boss may remain in the job given his recent record.
