Kwara United captain, Musa Abdulafeez is set for a spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Abdulafeez picked up the injury during Kwara United’s goalless draw against Ikorodu City in a matchday three fixture in Ilorin on Sunday.
The right-back was installed as the captain of the club following the departure of former skipper Adewale Adeyinka to Plateau United.
“Wishing our Skipper, Musa Abdulafeez ‘Olororo’ a quick and smooth recovery,” Kwara United wrote on X.
“Our medics are doing everything necessary, and they’ve assured us that he’ll be back in action very soon.
“Our thoughts and support are with you, Skippo! Stay strong!.”
