Nasarawa State has been chosen to host the 2024 National Skating Championships following the success of the inaugural tournament in Abuja.
Abdullahi Maikano, President of the Skating Federation of Nigeria (SFN), disclosed this on Saturday at the conclusion of the first edition of the National Skating Championship.
The event took place near the Abuja City Gate on the service lane of the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua motorway.
Maikano stated that a definite day and month for the championship would be announced soon.
According to him, 20 states, including Abuja, took part in the just-finished maiden edition.
“We thank God for the success of this championship; we will work to correct our lapses to make the next edition more interesting.
“We thank all participants (skaters) and their coaches for honouring this championship,” he said.
