Josh Maja scored the winning goal as West Bromwich Albion extended their unbeaten run in the Sky Bet Championship courtesy of a hard-earned 1-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon.
Maja netted the decisive goal two minutes after the hour mark.
It was the Nigeria international’s sixth goal of the campaign.
The Baggies have now claimed five victories from their first six fixtures.
It was also their third consecutive clean sheet this season and they remain top of the log.
Carlos Corberán’s men will face Sheffield Wednesday in their next league game.
